Pattaya Dive Festival 2010 to Stress Marine Environmental Conservation

Diving enthusiasts from near and far will come flocking to this year’s Pattaya Dive Festival, with its theme of marine environmental conservation, followed by a fireworks and dance spectacular. Pattaya Dive Festival 2010 is to be celebrated from 13-14 November 2010.

Five well-known diving centres will participate in the event, namely Mermaid Dive Centre, Wahoo Diving Center, Dive Indeed, Innovative Diver, and Dive Now. The five will promote marine environmental conservation activities, such as diving to collect rubbish, undersea photography, and laying artificial corals along the coast, specifically around Koh Larn and Khrok.

Some 500 divers are expected to boost those from the Pattaya diving centres, eager to share their individual diving exploits and mutual fascination with the sport. The participants will be treated to an extravaganza of fireworks and fire and belly dancing at the end of event.
