Tree Top Adventure Park - Horseshoe Point
Pattaya Mayor Ittipol Khunplome paid a visit to Horseshoe Point on the afternoon of the 26th December to officially open a new attraction called The Tree Top Adventure Park. The adventure attraction developed by Little World Company Limited is situated in 3,000 rai of land at the Horseshoe Point. Adventure attractions for active tourist include Tree to Tree sky bridges, Tarzan style rope swinging, sky skateboarding and sling climbing.

'Hangover' Sequel to be Filmed in Thailand?
Sources close to the upcoming sequel to The Hangover are saying that the next installment will take place in Thailand… Yes, Thailand. Director Todd Phillips says that the film is still in the scripting stage and this is only one of the many ideas they are planning.
Considering the fact that The Hangover has become the highest grossing R rated comedy in history and its recent Golden Globes nominations, the studio probably wants to fast track this sequel.via FilmstageThe original movie made me laugh out loud so it's good to hear there will be a sequel. That's just so long as it's 'fresh' and doesn't rely on the 'animal' (on left in photo) marrying a Katoey for it's laughs!!!! You can bet your house a katoey will be in it somewhere.

I went to see Avatar at Central on the Beach Road yesterday.
Really enjoyed the 2hr 40mins movie and a couple of eleven year olds in our group gave it a score of ten out of ten. Professional reviews are all over the Internet so I won't even try. What I will say is it is visually stunning in 2D so I can't imagine what it looks like in 3D. Things to note.The movie is rated PG13.The show times on the Internet didn't seem to tie in with the showtimes at the cinema. The 2D version is shown all day from 11:40am but the 3D version is only shown in the evenings. Ticket prices for the 2D version are Bt600, Bt150 and Bt120. I bought Bt150 tickets and the seats are probably the worst I've sat in at a modern cinema. The lumber support seems to push you out of the seat and when you recline and mold yourself to the seat you end up staring at the ceiling. I tried the Bt120 seats on the way out and they are much better. It's wort h considering when a movie runs for 2hr 40mins.Enjoy it. I did, in spite of the seat!!!Posted via email from Pattaya Post

DJ Nakadia Comments on Thailand's Party Scene
“Koh Samui developed more and more into Asia’s Ibiza,” she adds. “Every month more clubs opened and hundreds of international DJs spend their holidays on the island. It was so much fun to play on Samui this year. I would call Koh Samui the party centre of Southeast Asia in 2009.”
Standing out for Nakadia this festive season are the parties slated to be held at Chaweng beach.
“At Monkey Bay on Chaweng beach and at Lake View next to the Chaweng Lake you will find two of the best open air venues in Southeast Asia,” she adds. “For New Years Eve I would recommend Koh Pha-ngan. Since December 31 is also full moon, the Full Moon Party on Koh Pha-ngan will be huge this year. If I were staying in Bangkok, I would probably be on the State Tower for a New Years Eve dinner and then party through the night at Demo in Thong Lor.”
