It's Earth Hour and many hotels, among them Le Meridien hotels in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Sheraton Pattaya Resort and Millennium Hilton Bangkok, are joining millions people around the world in marking this special occasion.
Earth Hour, a worldwide event organised by the World Wildlife Fund, calls for action on climate change by doing something quite simple - turning off their lights for one hour. Nearly one billion people turned out for Earth Hour last year - involving 4,100 cities in 87 countries on six continents."
