A para in a Bangkok Post article on rebranding Pattaya caught my eye today.Quote:
The mayor admits Pattaya is better known as the city of five "S", standing for sea, sand, sun, service and, of course, sex. But that must change. Red-light attractions like beer and a go-go bars, he asserts, will soon be confined to the city's central and southern areas.
:UnquoteEd. Red light attractions will soon be confined to the city's central and southern areas? Southern must be Walking Street but what comes under Central? Soi Buakhao? Third road between South Pattaya and Central Pattaya roads? It certainly doesn't sound like Soi 6 and the bars further north fall under 'central area'. If they did it there would be no change. One to watch for bar-keeps and mongers that's for sure.
