- Jogli - Probably The Coolest Music Search Engine
Jogli is a new player in the music search engine market and I can say without a doubt that it has the potential to give the established players a run for their money. It indexes music made up of songs, albums and videos from around the web and presents them in a neat interface with all the stuff organized in a single page. It claims to index almost 12 million songs, most of them in the form of YouTube videos.
How it works
Although Jogli does not necessarily require registration, I recommend that you do register because then you will get access to all the features like saving your playlists and creating a Jogli profile.
To find music you have to type in the song, artist name or the album in the search box on the Jogli home page. On the results page you will get all the results related to your search under different headings like Artist, Albums and Clips on the right-hand side. For example, I did a search for the band ' Green day '.
On the left, we've got the video player on the top and the playlist editor below it.
Create and save playlists
The playlist editor on the right allows you to create and customize playlists by dragging and dropping songs, playlists or albums from the right. Registered users can further have access to the Music Library and are able to save their playlists.
Watch clips with lyrics and save them
When you click on a video clip, the video player on the left starts playing it and on the right you also get the lyrics to that particular song. Further it allows you to share stuff through email.
I should say that I am impressed with Jogli and the way it indexes and organizes the YouTube videos and songs from other sources. Considering the fact that it's still in beta and has a lot of room for improvement, I am sure this will develop into one of the best resources for searching music on the web. Even now I think it's probably the coolest one. [via MakeUseOf]
- Microsoft USB Flash Drive Manager
Microsoft USB Flash Drive Manager is basically a software to manage different images for USB devices. It provides options to backup the files of an USB device that is connected to the computer and to restore an image to the USB drive again. This is useful if you operate with an USB device that has a limited amount of free space and that you use for different purposes, for example for work and private documents.
Individual files can be copied to a device as well but it does not seem possible to copy single files from an USB device. The flash drive can be cleared before restoring files on it but it is not necessary.
The utility provides access to change the properties of the connected USB devices such as the volume label which can be connected to the USB image that has been restored on the USB device.
The software is compatible to Windows XP and requires the Microsoft .net Framework 1.1. Once installed runtime components can be included to provide autorun functionality. [via gHacks]

- Chugalug Drinks Factory
Forget about bottle-juggling the next time you host a party at your home. With the Chugalug Drinks Factory, making cocktails will never be the same again.
Making the average glass-twirling bar monkey seem about as wacky as Tim Henman, this bizarre contraption makes creating cocktails a highly amusing experience - and we should know because we've made thousandsh shinsh our shamples arrived. The idea is to stick this strange, Wonka-esque collection of translucent pods, vortex funnels and chambers to any flat surface (fridge, filing cabinet, window, boss's door, you name it) via the included suction cups. Next, pour your drinks into the funnels at the top (booze in one, mixer in the other) and watch in wonder as your concoction gives in to gravity, whooshing around the Chugalug's various bits and bobs. At the end of its journey your tipple will be waiting in the special ice chamber, perfectly mixed and ready to be dispensed into a glass. Cool!
The Chugalug Drinks Factory should get more fun to use every time, and the more drunk you are, the more interesting things become. Bring this home today for 24.95. [via Coolest Gadgets]
