A popular topic on Pattaya Forums is which bar/restaurant provides the best breakfast in town. Everybody has their own opinion and I'm no different but I recognise any response has to be purely subjective. That said, I've always enjoyed the breakfast's at Canterbury Tales and the Pig & Whistle but if I was to vote for the best in town it would be neither of these establishments. My vote would go to the breakfast buffets put on by a number of hotels in town, e.g. Lek, Apex, Diana.
Yesterday morning, I had breakfast by the pool at the Lek Hotel. On offer was salad, fried/scrambled/boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, croissants, toast, marmalade, jam, coffee, tea, various juices, nameless Thai dishes, fresh fruit, pastries including creme caramel. The list is incomplete, there were just too many dishes for me to remember. You get all you can eat and drink at the Lek for the princely sum of 110 Baht. There may be cheaper breakfasts in town but there can never be better.

- Saigon Girl opens tonight on Soi 6
- Checked out Lam Morrisson's bar last night which is next door to Insomnia. It's a smaller version of the Blue's Factory and like the Blues Factory it's a place not to go if you want to talk. Torn chords don't work for me but there's no doubting the guy can play. His problem seems to be he hasn't learned how to stand yet. Either that or something's effecting his balance. They have a number of paintings of Lam hanging on the walls and for sale for 20,000Baht. As he looks as if he could have starred in Lord Of The Rings, I wonder if he's sold many!!!!

- Defraggler Software for Defragmentation -The makers of CCleaner and Recuva have created a new softwar e called Defraggler which is a defragmentation software for Microsoft Windows 2000 up to Windows Vista. Defraggler introduces some new features that most - if not all - other defragmentation software's are missing.
It is for instance possible to get a visual analysis of the fragmentation level of a folder or file. While it is nice to know it would not make much sense if the software would not take advantage of this feature. Defraggler makes it possible to just defrag a folder or file instead of defragmenting the complete drive.
This is of course considerably faster than defragmenting the whole hard drive and useful if you want to work with a certain application. As far as I can tell it is not faster or slower than any of the other defragmentation tools out there but as I said, the new feature makes it stick out from the rest.
