- Pattaya Rugby 10s kick off this weekend at Horseshoe Point - This weekend will see the ninth staging of the Pattaya Rugby Tournament, known as the Chris Kays Memorial Tournament to perpetuate the memory of the former Pattaya Panthers captain, who was tragically killed in the Bali bombing in October 2002. Raimon Land will again be the major sponsors of the tournament. Other sponsors include MBMG International, Hamptons International and AGS Fourwinds.
Players and friends will get together tomorrow night for a ''welcoming party and training session'' at the new Northpoint development of Raimon Land. The action begins at 9am on Saturday and concludes around 5pm Sunday in what should be a memorable weekend festival of rugby. [via Bangkok Post]
